Obama Arrogantly Defiant Over Syria!

by Richard H. Frank

Listening to the news conference from Russia, President Obama continues to babble on and on about the use of chemical weapons in Syria. Obviously he has failed to secure support beyond “words just words” without the formation of any coalition of the willing. He spewed the same talking points we have heard for the past two weeks as he attempts to secure support for his position on punishing the Assad regime in Syria. What an embarrassment this is to our country.

It’s all about Obama having painted himself into a corner with his declaration of a “red line” having been crossed in Syria. He is now using the excuse that the American public is skeptical about what they hear from our Government. Is that any wonder since Obama has blatantly lied, not mislead, but lied, about Obamacare, Fast and Furious, Benghazi, the IRS scandal and the NSA spying on millions of Americans.

He states that the evidence is overwhelming with regard to Assad’s use of chemical weapons down to the number of weapons used and the headcount of casualties resulting from this situation. However, eleven months have passed since the attack in Benghazi and the Obama Administration knows nothing. What happened to his pledge to identify those response for the attack and bring them to justice. Something is rotten with the Obama Administration and they can’t be trusted to tell the American public the truth.

Why should we believe anything Obama says when he accepts no responsibility for any of his statements or actions?

“Words just words” – that’s all Obama has ever been about in his continuous campaign to protect his image of himself as a leader. Every time he opens his mouth in answer to a question he continues to babble on and on. What is worse we have another three years to suffer under the Obama Administration. As far as his continued rhetoric about international “norms,” he cannot use the words international law because Syria is not a party to the ban on chemical weapons. Bottom line, America does not have the right to aggressively declare war on a sovereign country, be it Syria or not, without a UN resolution or a coalition of countries participating in such aggression. He has neither. He also arrogantly said that the opinion of the American public doesn’t matter if their representative in Congress wants to side with Obama.

How dare he use World War II and the bombing of Britain as comparable to Syria when this narcissist was not even born and knows nothing about WWII. Furthermore, in his previous memoirs, he has condemned every action of America in the past relative to military action.
