Who Will Be Obama’s DNC Highlights?-An Impeached President and Bused-In Seat Holders

by Jayne D. Frank

It has been so hard to get Americans to attend the Democratic National Convention, that the Obama Campaign has taken to busing in hundreds of black people from churches from all over the state, and they have given tickets to new young campaign workers from North Carolina to fill up the stadium.  They have even opened up seating to the general public, in anticipation of the arena being noticeably empty for President Obama’s Thursday speech.  Why?  Because Americans, especially those Millenials that are now facing no serious job opportunities after graduation, are fed up with Hope and Change rhetoric and will not sit in for another Obama “Messiah”-fest.

The highlight of the Democratic National Convention?  A speech being given by a President that has been impeached by the House of Representatives for basic dereliction of duty.  He was, of course, acquitted by the Senate, the same body that has refused to come up with a budget for the past 3 years.   Too young for most of the young voters to remember, this is the reason that  President Clinton was impeached:

Bill Clinton, 42nd President of the United States, was impeached by the House of Representatives on two charges, one of perjury and one of obstruction of justice, on December 19, 1998. Two other impeachment articles, a second perjurycharge and a charge of abuse of power, failed in the House. The charges arose from the Lewinsky scandal and the Paula Jones lawsuit (from Wikipedia).

The only thing that President Obama and past President Clinton have in common is that, for reasons that fail me, they both seem “cool” to young people because they may be tech-savvy or like to have a beer with the average man on the street; hardly qualifications to lead the greatest Country on earth.

So, as voters, when you watch the rhetoric and “show” that the Democratic National Convention will put on for Thursday’s Obama speech, be educated about what is happening.  A desperate attempt by a President who has accomplished nothing and has set America backwards economically, and another desperate attempt by a past President to once again shine in the limelight.

UPDATE:  With 0% chance of precipitation, the DNC has still moved Obama’s speech to the much smaller venue convention venue.  The reason – the weather!  Sorry, Americans are just not falling for this any longer.  It was moved inside because the huge outdoor 74,000 stadium could not be filled with Obama-admirers.
