Trampling on our First Amendment Rights

by Jayne D. Frank

If it were not so sad it would be laughable, but then many of us have lost our sense of humor in the past several months.   If you look at the Huffington Post every day, you will see that their site is now filled with stories trying to make either the GOP or tea party-endorsed candidates and GOP incumbents out as criminals, bumbling idiots, or worse.  This is pure desperation knowing that Americans have finally stood up and said “enough” and that there will be a new GOP-controlled majority in the House and hopefully the Senate.

Along those lines of desperation, a new website is out called “teapartytracker.org”, funded by the George Soros group Media Matters, NAACP, Think Progress and New Left Media, which says it will call out all bloggers, individuals, and all tea party groups that “anyone” finds to be “racist” or “extremist.”    This effort is nothing more than an attempt to humiliate Americans who are standing up for their First Amendment rights to criticize the policies and laws of their current President and Congress, and I think they will be surprised that good and decent people who are just very concerned at the staggering debt, unemployment and taxes that this Administration is imposing, will not go away.  I fully expect all the loonies to come out from under their rocks now and find their website to be empowering.

Criticizing and forcing change to a President or Congressman’s policies, black or white, is American and guaranteed under our Constitution.  Should be interesting as our elections unfold!

  1. Good site! I really love how it is easy on my eyes and the data are well written. I am wondering how I might be notified whenever a new post has been made. I’ve subscribed to your feed which must do the trick! Have a nice day!
